Unexposed, 6yo, with just three career hurdle runs. Beaten by only a length and 4L in his last two races in maiden/novice company; two of those races were won by runners now rated 120 and 126. The yard is in good form, and the selection should be ready and may be stronger after a four-month break. An opening handicap mark of 105 is attractive, and another 6 lb is taken off his back by a capable apprentice jockey.

Lightly raced 10-year-old. Won or placed in 8 of 9 runs over fences. Three solid runs in good company this winter. He never landed a blow six weeks ago when third, but he did have a big step up in trip that day. Three of his last four RPR ratings stand out in this company. His class can win the day, and he has a strong jockey booking. He has just two previous visits to this track and was a wide-margin hurdle winner here earlier in his career.

Just three career runs from the Skelton-trained 6yo mare, and you could expect more improvement as she now returns from a two-month break. She was a good 5L maiden winner on her second start. Beaten by just a length on her handicap debut last time out, after carrying a big weight that day. Her current rating puts her in the mix for this novice Listed hurdle race, and this longer trip can suit this ex-PTP winner.

Just four runners for this £34K Listed Chase. Two runs this winter in good company for the selection: a narrow defeat plus a win six weeks ago. He is way clear of his three rivals on the ratings, and a just clear round of jumping should win the day.

The 9-year-old has been below par this winter. After a spin five weeks ago in a 29.5f cross-country contest, he might have some confidence back and is now running over a more suitable 16.5f. He won this race in ’24 and was a very close runner-up in the race last year; both those runs were while carrying a 9 lb higher mark.

Three career runs for the 5yo, form 114. He was a good fourth last time out in a Grade 1 novice hurdle, only losing out on the run-in, and that form is looking solid now. He comes here fresh after a two-month break and can be a big player in this Grade 2 contest.

The 8-year-old has five wins over fences. Two respectable runs in quality company this winter should set him up nicely for this handicap chase. He has a lower rating now, and he won a stronger-looking handicap last winter off this mark. Four weeks later he went very close off a 6 lb higher mark. He will be fresh after an eleven-week break and is weighted to be in the mix.

Just five starts over hurdles, form 22114. His last hurdle run was in Grade 1 company. Three runs over fences this winter, two narrow defeats, and he is in good shape. Now running in a handicap hurdle with a nice £61K first prize. He won a useful Grade 2 novice hurdle last spring at this track and is running off a tempting handicap mark judging him on that effort. No problem with the forecasted rain and a strong jockey is in the saddle. A recent wind-op could improve his chances.

The 11-year-old has been below par in his last two runs, but hopefully a six-week break can see him in a better light for this veteran's handicap chase. He had four runs in his last campaign in quality races and, despite not winning, he went very close in three of those handicaps. He's on a handy-looking mark now.

Three runs this winter for the 5yo: a close runner-up twice, followed by a win five weeks ago. Stayed on well at the finish that day after stepping up in trip, and has an extra 1/2f for this handicap. Three good RPR ratings posted, and the form seems solid. Top yard/jockey and room for plenty more improvement.

Lightly raced 6yo who might be underestimated in this handicap chase. He switched to fences this winter and has two wins and a narrow defeat to his name from three runs. A mistake 2 out did not help in his last race. The form seems fine, with decent RPR ratings. Those three races were over 16f. He was a 21f hurdle winner last spring, and this 20f trip could bring about further improvement. He carried 11-10 in his last race and just 10-3 for this handicap, which might put an extra spring in his step.
