Sixty Plus was a big improver in the summer. His official rating was hiked by 48 pounds. That seemed to stop him over shorter distances, but he is of interest again today taking a big step up in distance. The horse's best performance came on the left-handed, galloping track at Worcester, and Wetherby can suit. Trainer James Owen, who saddled a winner on the flat yesterday, has a 36% win percentage in Wetherby hurdles in the last three years. Oscar Palmer takes over in the saddle. He has a 26% strike rate in hurdles this season, combined with a level-stakes profit, and claims a useful seven-pound allowance today.

Mountain Molly returns to hurdling after having had jumping problems on her two outings over fences. The mare's career-best performance came at around today's distance. She goes well on soft ground. Mountain Molly was beaten three-quarters of a length on her handicap hurdle debut, but the pair were nine and a half lengths clear, and a rise in the weights of one pound is manageable. She is related down the dam line to some useful types, including Grade 2-winning jumper Sir OJ. Mountain Molly has a half-brother and a half-sister who have achieved ratings 14 and 22 pounds higher than her, and there should be better to come from her. The stable saddled a winner and three second-placed horses on Saturday.

Give Him A Chance has his first visit to Naas. This left-handed, undulating, galloping track with a stiff, uphill finish can suit. The horse's career-best hurdling performance (by six pounds) came on a similar course at Cheltenham in November in the Paddy Power Handicap Hurdle. His wins have been on good ground, but at Cheltenham the going was soft. Give Him A Chance stays further than today's distance and should be keeping on at the finish. He has dropped two pounds in the weights since his career-best effort. Tiernan Power Roche has won on Give Him A Chance and retains the ride, claiming a useful three-pound allowance. This trainer/jockey combination were narrowly beaten yesterday in a big-field handicap hurdle.
