4 year old filly sired by Nathaniel has run 3 races here and not really shown she is ready to win. Her first run back last time was at Southwell and she probably needed it after a rest since October. On Breeding she should like this surface and her price is lower that her tissue price in the RP where she was the outsider of the field. May be a little confidence in her and think we may see a better run today.

7 year old gelding Sired by Mastercraftsman is a regular here and ran a good race last time out over 7 furlongs coming a close 2nd. He is over a furlong shorter today but with the same 5lb claimer on board has a good chance to go close again. Lower than a winning handicap mark here and jockey will make more use of him earlier hopefully. A competitive heat but a good price to have a small interest in.

Jockey will know him better today and he drops another couple of lb in the handicap to a lowly mark. He re-opposes the winner of his last 2 races on more attractive terms and there has been some interest in the market in my selection today.

5-year-old gelding sired by Twilight Son is a consistent sort, and even more so with this very able jockey on board. Not won since January 2025 but has run several good races in defeat. I think, with a decent draw for one that can front run, back down to his winning handicap mark and reunited with a jockey who has won on him, there is plenty in his favour today. Going NAP for this one.

Breeding suggests this surface should suit, and she did run a decent 2nd on her only visit to this course. I think a return to this Tapeta surface, rather than the Polytrack, may bring about her first win.

A 5 lb claimer who rode a winner here a few days ago takes a further 5 lb off. Not a great draw, but she tends to be held up, so if things drop right she could come with a late run.
